Photocopier Price Comparisons Print E-mail
Monday, 18 September 2006
Before purchasing the next photocopier for your home or business, it is essential to do an extensive price comparison on different types of photocopiers.  This will ensure that you and your business receive the highest quality at the lowest possible prices.   Additionally, a price comparison of the photocopiers on the market will allow you to determine whether or not you should buy or lease that new copier.

As technology has continued to increase over the past few years, the price for photocopiers has decreased.  Functions and features that are commonplace today would have been unheard of when the first Xerox machine came out in 1959.  That being said, there is a wide gap between what is needed in a small office and what is needed in a mid to large office.

For smaller businesses, less expensive photocopiers may offer the best solution, both for budget consideration and copying needs.  These range from $150 to $500, and can be purchased from any office supply store.   These machines offer excellent quality and allow for the volume of even the busiest small business.

That being said, some businesses find that their volume is too high for even the best small photocopier.  If that is the case with your business, then perhaps you should look at standard full-size photocopiers.  These machines range from $1,000 up to $4,000, and can handle volumes several times higher than small photocopiers.  Additionally, these machines can be leased with a service plan to allow for any problem that may arise in the future.
